I came here on itch.io after a long, long time, and remembered offcuts. Initially, I had a little hope that the game has been updated, but that moron still fooling with us with all those excuses on patreon, for real, I'm full of this sh*t.
While going in I wasn't expecting something like Echo, The Smoke Room or DDLC (just a example) it done it's job as a solid read. Outside of the issues here and there the story works and did it's job as a NSFW VN. The characters were enjoyable, some funny moments, and designs are well done. It's definitely not 10/10 but I would recommend if you have some spare time and want a easy read. Shame that some people reviewing never looked at Stencilbits patreon page, he clearly states multiple times he was working on the entire chapter at one go and changing to 3D with some animation. So it's understandable it wasn't released next day, especially with it being one person. I'll give Stencilbits the benefit of the doubt and say he really is working and is closer to being done, if not guess I'll eat my words. Either way I'll still be downloading when version 4 comes out.

The storywriting is just plain bad and it is a visual novel. When doing the Amy route, the MC (Cole) suddenly has no clue how to talk to a girl or how to interact with her, then even needs the help of another girl when it comes to having sex with Amy. I guess the intent was to make the MC funny and witty, but the end result was a rambling clueless idiot. So the fact that anyone could say this has a great story behind it is just not there.
No one is attracted to bad art that looks like it was a grade school art project drawn up by a bunch of children. I see some child got a gold star in class participation. The graphics are all kinds of bad. Characters are deformed. Not like the story makes up for it either. This is an entry level adult novel at best, if you havent played them before and if you have, it's almost comically bad.
Not something I'd lose any sleep over if it never got worked on again.

Anything by Patreon you access by paying a monthly fee to the maker is called paywalling. This dev has even paywalled his "monthly update" which is just a bunch of regurgitated garbage from the months before. The problem with this is you could be paying these devs for the next several years and never see the game completed. These so-called "Patreon rewards" are just ways of keeping money flowing while the game never goes very far, if anywhere, like this game. Notice how his handfull of patron clique is always coming on here and pointing to his Patreon?

But after thinking about this VN here going as as patron-only all I have to say I don’t think I could do any worse. The graphics here are adequate, really not all that (Honey Select or Unity, even a noob developer knows to use those) but they do the job but they are coupled with an obvious and almost non-existant system of maintenace. Its appalling to say the least. The scenes leave a lot to be desired. Does this game have any redeeming features as a paid game? I really don't know but as it is, there is no way anyone is going to pay money for something that never gets updated or taken care of.

Multiply that by times 12 and, unless you're one of those who can't see anything unless it literally hits you in the face, there it is right there - he drew that much, and didn't do a damn thing.
Best part about this: I'm the only one participating in this post other than the HSPV people. They are gonna say it's because the game is dead, but in reality, it's because people don't want to deal with the toxic kids here.

Its appalling to say the least. The scenes leave a lot to be desired. Does this game have any redeeming features as a paid game? I really don't know but as it is, there is no way anyone is going to pay money for something that never gets updated or taken care of.

dev needs to update his skills significantly. single pic sex scenes with a bunch of dialogue won’t cut it if he thinks he can go for paid.

The noob (new) version of Kunoichi Trainer just came out, and its even worse than what it already was. Its a garbled mess, the coding is so bad it was most likely translated from ancient stone tablets. It is that bugged.
The art is fine but the delivery is terrible. All you can really do is just cheat to select which scene you want, because you can forget about actually getting to them in game. That guy needs to quit (or hire a decent programmer).
Well... now that new image does look better. I will say that.
looks the same to me. any good graphics editor could have smoothed out those images and adjusted the contrast and sharpness. Instead, Id do image compression. this exact same game download is available on a porting site for barely 87MB.

Story quality is as good as any generic porn intro at most. Content quality is cheap. Renders are bad mostly. Not as active or regular updates to keep looking out for.

0.4 went in development over a year ago. Absolute waste of time. The support on Patreon shows this is a flop, probably why he has no interest in it at all.
this game is a literal garbage can of deformed ragdolls and broken english. the last update gave absolutely nil outside of "bug fixes" after making ppl wait for several months and was moot. total junk masterpiece right here.
auroras fog, long live the princess, mythic manor, its a new world out there, starship inanna, the headmaster, sisterly just, just off the top of my head to name a few. these are all very much worth playing.

Good news guyzzz. 0.4 Alpha was just released last month for windows in their patreon. As for the Android version, they're still working on bugs and re-rendering old images. THE GAME IS NOT DEAD.

I hate to break it to you, but that doesn't prove a thing. The fact remains that this has been "in development" for longer than a year with absolutely nothing to show for. People get a lot more pissy than what's been posted on here over things that get neglected for far less. You should go check out some of the other projects going on with itch.io. Most only take about 2-3 months at best to begin having even worse comments than these appear, excluding the HSPV (whatever the hell that is/was) circus act that went on, so you can post copies of devlogs all you want, still does not take away the fact that nothing is being or getting done and further proof, as if any were needed, is the fact YOU posted it rather than the actual DEV himself, and I do pity anyone silly enough to still be paying this guy's Patreon at this point. This guy literally just ignores you, so why would you or anyone else keep paying him contributions?
Dev has had plenty of time to "breathe" as you say. 13-14 months to be exact and why is it such a shock to you or anyone else that people are asking and wondering what is going on? If a dev is still struggling to breathe or still underwater after more than a year then he's obviously not capable of maintaining a project and needs to call it quits, which it pretty much already is. Devlogs don't change a thing, especially if they keep coming and promising updates from WAY back since like April, then October, then November and now here you show up with these links to all these devlogs, and with "more coming" as you say. Kinda loses all it's credibility, but you know, maybe I missed something with all that. Here's some breaking news for you my man, devlogs, they mean nothing. They been posted for a year straight and have all led to... you guessed it, a BIG NOTHING. So why should anyone be interested in a devlog at this point, much less actually go and read one?
Bottom line is this is one of, if not the, most neglected project that I have seen, and it literally doesn't have to be that way. All you have to do is just release what you have in the form of decimal updates so that interest can be kept in your project, like only nearly every other dev on itch.io or literally anywhere else does. Instead, what's been done has only been a great way to destroy whatever base he has/had built up, man. Come on, even you have to admit going this long is just utterly ridiculous, and it's not like graphics here are state of the art or anything that require "all this super advanced time consuming totally brand new tech" upgrades to generate. It's just utter nonsense and total BS used to conceal the fact the dev is doing nothing except milking his Patreon supporters for everything possible.
A lot of devs do that, and it's very easy to spot those that do if you can read between the lines and have a functioning brain. And what we have right here is a classic example of one doing so. While the game may be "free" why don't you take a look at how much monetary support each month is drawn on his Patreon. Multiply that by times 12 and, unless you're one of those who can't see anything unless it literally hits you in the face, there it is right there - he drew that much, and didn't do a damn thing.
